Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program

The Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program at Lawren Healthcare Services is a community-based service designed to help individuals with mental health diagnoses develop the practical, social, and interpersonal skills they need to live more independently and thrive in their communities. PRP is not therapy in the traditional sense — it is structured, goal-oriented mentoring and skill-building delivered in the real-world environments where clients actually live, learn, and work. Our PRP specialists work alongside clients in their homes, schools, neighborhoods, and communities — teaching skills where they matter most. For children and adolescents, PRP provides critical support that complements their therapy, helping them succeed academically, socially, and at home. For adults, PRP builds the competencies needed to maintain employment, manage daily responsibilities, and strengthen community connections. PRP is most effective when delivered in partnership with your therapy and medication management team, and at Lawren, that coordination happens automatically.
